The Brand
Cassie, the owner of The Lake House, is a longtime family friend and wedding planner extraordinaire. She actually planned my wedding and made it the perfect day for us! It’s been a dream of hers to open her own wedding venue one day. Once she saw the 22-acre piece of paradise on Boone Lake, she knew it was the perfect place to start making her dream come true.
Cassie’s vision for her brand was elegant and timeless. Her one special request: to incorporate the compass design she stenciled onto the floor of the groom’s room at the venue. The compass detail, paired with an elegant script font and a color palette full of blues to symbolize the lake, came together to bring Cassie’s vision to life.

The Website
Cassie was dreaming of a website that was modern, clean, elegant, personal, and truly captured the beauty and the history of her property.
To get that personal touch, I incorporated the compass from the logo on several pages. Cassie also mentioned that lavender grows all over her property, so I added some lavender illustrations to the site for another personal detail.
